the place to be!!!
This place is awesome I would be there every weekend if I was leaving in Louisville but unfortunly I'm not... But I'm always come back watch out! ;-)
It's big, but not THAT big...
Connection is a big space, and it's structured a bit like Gay 90's in Minneapolis with lots of different spaces (a huge dance floor area, a big theatre for drag stuff, a "shower" bar, and DOC, an attached loungy space). I happened to go while the EOY pageant was going on, which meant a $10 cover and empty spaces everywhere but the theatre, which didn't have nearly enough seats in the gigantic space to accommodate the audience. The drinks were good though, and not too expensive. The shower boys didn't start 'til after midnight on a Friday, and there's only ONE shower, so the rest of the boys, and the guys who wanted to watch them, had to wait their turn.
Have a "Four Horsemen"... you'll thank me and then hate me in the morning =)
Young crowd
Very young crowd. Great drag show. The guy at the door was really rude, once i got past that it was great!
